Mr. Brown received his Bachelor’s Degree in aerospace engineering sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After a brief stint as a rocket scientist, he decided he wanted to focus on things a little more down to earth and pursued a Master’s Degree in health and rehabilitation sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. While designing a variety of assistive devices, he got involved in robotics and STEM education programs for youth with disabilities, which led to coaching the robotics team at MA starting in 2015 and teaching 8th grade science in 2016. When he’s not teaching, you might find him hiking, building robots, making up songs, or reading books with his kids again and again and again and again….
